The Turkish government enacted its restrictions of hazardous substances (RoHS) rules on electrical and electronic equipment in June 2019.
Therefore, assessments, testing, and declarations of electronic devices exported to Turkey must be performed.
The Turkey RoHS regulation is very similar to the European Union one, with the additional
obligation to fill out a Conformity Declaration Form and submit it every year to the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
The original RoHS and WEEE regulation number 28300, Atık elektrikli ve elektronik eşyalar
(AEEE), drafted in 2012, is available in Turkish here.
